Baltic Yachts Ltd was founded 35 years ago in 1973 by five men looking to build superior yachts – or superyachts - that would give them the edge over their competitors. Baltic Yachts Ltd is now one of the leading names in custom and semi-custom made luxury yachts for sale.
The Baltic Yachts Ltd company is based in the United States of America at Rhode Island however the Baltic Yachts Ltd yard is located in a village called Bosund on the West coast of Finland. Here they have developed excellent facilities for building their yachts for sale.
Over the three and a half decades that Baltic Yachts Ltd has been building boats for sale they have sold many motor yachts. They sell two types of luxury yachts, custom built yachts and semi-custom built yachts. The semi-custom built yachts are naturally quicker to build and are a less expensive option than the custom built yachts, however the owner is still able to have some degree of customization to the design. It is a good solution for an owner who does not have too much time to devote to the project.
Custom-built motor yachts are the more expensive option. It requires more involvement from the owner during the design stage and naturally it takes longer to build than a semi-custom made boat. However the kind of person who buys this kind of luxury yacht is often highly individual and can afford the time and money to fully devote to the project.
