C.B.I. Navi Yachts is a luxury superyacht builder based in Viareggio, Italy. CBI builds yachts between 79 and 174 feet long and displacement motor yacht manufacturing is the cornerstone of C.B.I. Navi’s business. The luxury yachts are built from both steel and aluminum and the technical department plays a major role in the development of yacht design.
C.B.I. Navi utilizes complete testing of plans and designs before the building process commences. The Vienna Model Basin is employed to verify hydrodynamic performance of the hull (tank testing), and other tests. The company complies with registers like Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, and earns the RINA classification of comfort class.
The CBI Navi brand name and yard has been purchased by Fipa, the Group headed by Francesco Guidetti. The Fipa Group has stepped into a sector previously unknown to it, with the construction in metal and displacement hulls, after having achieved success with rigorously custom vessels in composite, the Maiora range of motoryachts and the AB Yachts opens.
